Join the Environmental Team and their intern from Holy Family University at their program on the science of greenhouses and the art of winter seed starting! Participants will create a functioning mini greenhouse using recycled materials and discover how greenhouses work through concepts like heat trapping, humidity, and microclimates. Everyone will leave with their own greenhouse-in-a-container, giving them a head start on their spring food gardens and the knowledge to keep experimenting at home.
