Join us for a guided kayak tour focused on the birds of the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River. We will be joined by Bria, Senior Coordinator of Audubon Mid-Atlantic at the Discovery Center, who will teach us about the birds we encounter out on the water. Bria will also cover the use of digital tools to identify what we see and hear, so you will leave with a better handle on how to identify birds out in the wild!  Please bring your own binoculars to the event! Note that the Free Library of Philadelphia offers birding backpacks (including binoculars) for loan at multiple locations.   We will mostly paddle in tandem (two-person) kayaks, so if you arrive solo, you may get paired with a new friend. This activity is open to all ages 12+, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
