Make your own paper out of recycled cotton rag and foraged plant inclusions! Join teaching artists from the Paper Think Tank and transform cotton rag pulp into beautiful sheets of paper. The workshop will begin with an introduction, historical overview of hand papermaking in Philadelphia and a brief demo. From there, participants can make a variety of handmade papers using the prepared pulp and extra materials foraged around Glen Foerd. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. This workshop will be held outside at the Glen Foerd Carriage House at the end of the driveway. In the case of inclement weather, the workshop will be held inside the Carriage House.
