DESCRIPTION: Please join us for our annual Riverfest event! There will be open boating on the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River for the duration of the event--come explore the water on one of Glen Foerd’s kayaks, canoes, or rowboats! \n\nOn land, enjoy hands-on environmental and arts activities brought to you by Lily P.A.D.S., River Ambassadors teen program, and the rest of the Glen Foerd team. We are proud to host partner organizations with tables from Pennypack Environmental Center, PA Game Commission, Riverfront North, Tacony Lab, and more! There will also be music, local vendors, food by Good Karma food truck, and sweet treats from Mister Softee.\n\nSelf-guided tours of our historic mansion will be available throughout the event, as well as guided tours led by our Executive Director at 4:00pm and 5:30pm.\n\nMake sure to bring sunscreen, water, shoes/clothes that you don't mind getting wet and muddy for boating, a blanket or camp chairs for lounging, and anything else you might need to enjoy the outdoors!\n\nThis event is free of charge but please consider selecting a $5, $10, or $15 donation ticket to further support our environmental programs.\n\nFor details, click here: https://glenfoerd.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/riverfest-2025
