On land, enjoy hands-on environmental and arts activities. We are proud to host partner organizations with tables from Riverfront North Partnership, Audubon Mid-Atlantic, The Block Gives Back, The Mobile CPR Project, Companions and Animals for Reform and Equity (CARE), The Autistic Art Coalition of Philadelphia, and Delaware Riverkeeper Network. There will also be an open archery range hosted by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Shop local vendors and grab some snacks from the Federal Donuts food truck. Self-guided tours of our historic mansion will be available throughout the event, along with two guided tours led by our experienced and knowledgeable staff.
During the event, the local Delaware River Yacht Club will be holding sailboat races on the Delaware River. Riverfest offers a perfect vantage point to watch the races, with excellent viewing available from the grounds behind the mansion
Make sure to bring sunscreen, shoes/clothes that you don't mind getting wet and muddy for boating, a blanket or camp chairs for lounging, and anything else you might need to enjoy the outdoors!
This event is free of charge, but please consider selecting a $5, $10, or $15 donation ticket to further support our environmental programs.

Join us this summer on the 3rd Thursday of every month from May through September for an evening of family fun!
This month, there will be food from Clean Plate Club Food Truck, live music by Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society, and an arts-and-crafts table for visitors of all ages. Drinks will also be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or some chairs and enjoy the grounds and Main House, which will be open for free self-guided tours.
While this event is free and open to all, community donations are essential to making evenings like this possible. A $10 suggested donation is highly encouraged. Your donations will help us continue low-cost community events and many others we offer throughout the year.

We are pleased to offer outdoor yoga classes overlooking the river at Glen Foerd led by Northeast Philadelphia yoga teacher Melissa Gyuraki.
Vinyasa-style classes will emphasize the development of strength, flexibility, balance, and grace through the use of postures linked to breath. Synchronization of breath with movement allows participants to both recharge and relax.
Participants should dress in layers and bring their own yoga mat, towel or blanket, water, and sunscreen. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time of the class.

Learn Archery with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and Glen Foerd! Instructors are National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Certified Basic Archery Instructors.
Participants will learn the basics of archery equipment, how to shoot a compound bow, and improve shooting technique. New and experienced archers welcome. This event is appropriate for adults and children ages 8 and up.
Registrants should feel free to drop in anytime during the two-hour block. This program will take place in the clearing near the boathouse behind the mansion. Note: this program is dependent on weather conditions. Please keep an eye on your email leading up to the program for updates.

Discover the botanical art of kokedama, a traditional Japanese gardening technique in which a plant's root system is encased in a ball of soil, wrapped in moss, and secured with string.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create and care for their own kokedama using soil, moss, and a live plant. No prior gardening experience is necessary! We will provide step-by-step guidance, and all materials are included.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a unique botanical arrangement to add to your home, office, or give as a gift! This horticultural art form is not only relaxing but also allows you to get creative and connect with nature.
